The Foundation laying ceremony for Kunming 3 Million Laying Hens Project of Charoen Pokphand Group, an EPC project undertaken by Kaiser, was held in 31^st July., 2017.

This project is located in theLin Jia Du river valley on theDongchuan Plateau of Yunnan Province, covering an area of 1570 mu, with a construction area of 155,245㎡ for the first phase. After completion, it will be the largest laying hen factory within southwest of China till now. Its planning and construction focus on the 3 million laying hen project (?), aiming to achieve optimization in both economic and environment influence through the form of industrial chain. The construction work includes: one farm for the 3 million laying hen, one farm for 1 million young chicken, one egg classification package workshop, one egg further processing workshop, one 12- ton feed mill, one crocodile farm with a capacity of accommodating 5000 crocodiles and one organic fertilizer plant with a yield of 60,000 tons.
