Dalian 2017 Summer Outward-bound and Seaborne Carnival 

Kaiser Dalian Office held a two days outward-bound and carnival event with the theme of “SHALL I COMPARE YOU TO A SPRING DAY” on August 18^th and 19^th before the end of the summer.

Two days carnival event brought Kaiser Dalian employee a full-blooded and enjoyable summer weekend with activities like long-distance race of 15 kilometers, various kinds of team competitions, barbecue, etc. Friendship and cooperation between colleagues were enhanced through these activities.

Day 1

An outward-bound dedicated base in Jinshi Resort was being chosen for first day’s activity. 96 employees formed teams randomly with collectively elected team leaders and officers. Finally, friendly matches were held between 6 teams distinguished from each other by flags of different colors. (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Pink and Orange)

Kaiser’s solidarity and coordinate strength, creative thinking and vigor left deep impression to the coach when it came to flag, slogan and anthem design at the very beginning of the match. “People were enthusiastic and no one was idle away during the activity, it is an excellent team” that’s the evaluation you heard most from the coach.

The outward-bound was arranged in a close-knit pattern. Games such as Tramcar, Team Holy Tower and Strength of Breath, Inception and Relay Race were carried out one by one, each team’s expression, coordination and logical reasoning capabilities were challenged in these games. Teamwork spirit was for sure enhanced to the highest during these activities.

Thegame named “inception” is the most challenging one facing all teams. 30 pieces
of pictures with different but interconnected scenarios, spaces and contents
were distributed to the hands of 16 people. No peep at each other, each one was
required to describe the scenario of the picture held in hand. After that, it
is required to connect these seemingly unrelated 30 pictures in right sequence
through logical analysis and reasoning or inference. Finally, four out of six
teams complete their missions successfully and quickly without breaking rules.
To complete this “mission impossible” seemed logical reasoning game, teamwork
spirit played a very important role. As the game went on, desire to win mindset
changed to relaxed play. When the last match finished, people gathered together
to form a circle and pulled the rope while shouted the slogan “unity and
strength”!  These grey and dull seemed
words heard on usual time became solid and realistic under such circumstance
because it indicates that we are capable of facing future challenge with best
possible performance!

Day 2

 

Compare with pervious seaborne carnivals, it is the most energy-consuming one but also lightsome felt by most people, because we were run together to the event location from 15 kilometers away.

 

We Kaiser People believe in sports activity for a long time, sportsmanship not only helped Kaiser keeping energetic in industrial architecture field but also improving endurance and self-discipline of its employee. For vitality and vigor of Kaiser contains in every race starting line.

Running along the lengthy coastline while accompanied by burning sun, we arrived at the destination and no one was dropped out of the race, because we all have faith and find strength in Kaiser!

According to rules of the race, team 1 from engineering department won the first-place prize. Each member of the team was rewarded of a pair of ASICS Sports Shoes worth 790 RMB provided by the company. These shoes are big help to these energetic young people when they embark on a journey farther away.

After this eye-catching race finished, all employees and their relatives of Dalian Office attended lively barbecue party at the finishing line—Gold Coast of Pebble Beach Resort.

Everyone showed a good appetite after this energy-consuming activity.

Lucky Draw event was also arranged during the process of the party, a pleasant surprise for everyone.

Not to mention various kinds of beer drinking and abnormal food eating competition that “brutal” enough to raise the atmosphere further. These activities including slurp up beer with beverage bottle and sip beer with knotted straw and eat spicy flavoredwater melon and salad flavored mutton kebab, etc. Everyone was enjoyed so much even care nothing about made a show before the crowd him or herself.

Two days event of Dalian Office held in August was ended up in sweating, laughter and a little fatigue. Compare with previous carnival event which held once a year, it is an especially young and energetic event this year.

It was just matched perfectly with the theme of this carnival——“SHALL I COMPARE YOU TO A SPRING DAY”

We learned and experienced teamwork the first day.

We realized how powerful we are if we stick together to achieve our goal the second day.

Therefore, with mighty teammates and the team united together, we are naturally invincible and confident enough to achieve all targeted goals in the future!
